Target Market

Campus Health’s Dental Education Program’s ideal customer is primarily college students that have children. Since this demographic is so diverse, it encompasses both genders and various ethnic backgrounds. Many of these students come from middle to upper-middle-income families, allowing them the means to invest in their child’s dental health while pursuing higher education. Geographically, these families are located in mostly urban areas or college towns where higher learning is located, often leading to a greater density of young and middle aged adults, seeking educational programs related to health for themselves and their family.

In terms of psychographics, these students are usually health-conscious and place value in preventative care, showing interest in overall well-being. They often engage in research about health topics, such as dental hygiene, through online platforms or social media. Their lifestyles are generally busy, balancing academics, part-time jobs, social activities, and things that their children are involved in, which makes convenient access to educational resources important. They often prioritize programs that are in line with their values, like sustainability and community health initiatives.

This customer is motivated by an interest to increase their knowledge about dental health, not only for personal benefit but also from their peers. They desire to be good role models for their children too. They are likely to be active participants in campus activities and community outreach, viewing dental education as a way to improve their overall campus health culture.
